This product seems to be in everyone’s make-up bag and I
have only recently decided to invest the £24.50 (22ml) into one. I got mine
from the benefit counter in Debenhams but it is widely available in lots of
shops and online.
For those who don’t know this product is a pro balm that
aims to minimize the appearance of pores and primes the skin before make-up
application. It states to be oil-fee, light-weight , translucent and silky and
in my opinion it is all 4 of theses. It works by ,effectively, being a bit of
poly-filler for your face, filling in large pores, lines and smoothing the
surface of your skin.
This is awesome as it creates a smooth surface for
foundation application to give a really flawless base. The feeling of this
product is amazing and just a tiny amount makes your skin feel like its entered
a silk invasion and instantly boosts confidence. I feel my makeup lasts and
looks fresher for a whole lot longer when I use this compared to when I don’t.
The one down side to this (other than the price) is that it
doesn’t get rid of pores only hides them and this is important to remember that
this product is not a long term solution for those with large pores, but a way
to cover them and blur them into the skin.
Like I mentioned this is a product on the pricier side of
things (in my opinion), however due to only needing a small amount per
application it does last a considerable while. I would recommend this to anyone
looking for a primer and pore minimiser that can afford to splash out on
something of this calibre. However for people on more of a budget there are so
many great primers on the high street that I feel do a similar enough job for a
lot cheaper, for example, Maybelline Baby Skin.
