Style Haul Summer Party | Get Ready With Me & Vlog | Video

I'm networked with Style Haul on Youtube (which You can subscribe to HERE) and was kindly invited to their recent summer party. It was held at the Courthouse Hotel on the Soho Sky Terrace. and was such a wonderful evening. The UK Style Haul Team were so nice and there were so many lovely Youtubers there. There were ladies from WAH Nails making everyones nails looking beautiful, a really cool instagram machine that printed off your photos, and more food and drink than you would ever need! The view off the terrace was so pretty and I was so grateful to have been invited. I filmed a Get Ready With Me for it and also vlogged the event and I wanted to share that with you all.

Thanks again to Style Haul for putting on a wonderful event. Don’t forget to follow this blog on Bloglovin’ and you can follow me on Twitter and Instagram both @emmaamazingemma and now Snapchat @emmaconnor92.

MAC Lipstick Review | Velvet Teddy | Kylie Jenner Inspired Lips

We all want those big sexy Kylie Jenner lips and the word on the street is that she uses MAC's Velvet Teddy a beautiful deep-tone beige. Now I'm not normally one for rocking a nude lip, but felt the need to give this more brown nude a go because of the hype. I fell in love immediately, the matte finish is super complimentary to my skin tone, a nice change from some of the other nude shades, it has slight peachy undertones which gives it a more life like look about it. It doesn't dry my lips out at all and if anything my lips feel moisturised - a rarity for a matte finish. As always for MAC it's packaged in the beautiful black bullet giving a nice sleek finish.

Overall I have been loving wearing this lipstick I think it is great that it gives a different ‘look’ to my regular go to lipstick style and repertoire. I would recommend this shade to everyone. I can see it being a staple in my autumn/winter looks.

Have you tried Velvet Teddy? What are your thoughts? Any new lipstick recommendations?

Primark Make-Up? | Review | Haul | Demo | Video

I have wanted to try lots of different make-up brands for such a long time now and came up with a way to document all my thoughts on brands and their products. I decided to do a 'brand focus' series over on my YouTube Channel (you can subscribe HERE). In this series I would create a full face of make -up using only products from one brand.

This months brand focus video was a from a brand I had never tied before and was intrigued as to what it would be like. That is the Primark P.S. Love cosmetics range. You can see my thoughts and first impressions in the video below.

I am still using some of the products in my everyday make up - particularly the eye liner and mascara and am sure I will re-purchase them in the future. I also use the concealer daily, but would probably opt to spend a little more for one that doesn't crease so much on my oily skin.

Have you tried any of the P.S. Love cosmetics? What do you think of them?

Lush Bath Bombs | Butterball Demo & Review

So this is a little series on my blog that I have wanted to do for a little while now, well since i went and splurged in lush last month, (Watch a haul here). We all love a good relaxing bath and lush create some fabulous bath products that we all wish we could throw in and relax away to our hearts content, but alas sometimes the products that lush offer can make that relaxing time a tad expensive (thinking of the $$$) so I wanted to trial these products for you and let you know what I think of them!

This weeks bath was the Lush Butterball.

This bath bomb retails at £2.65 and lush describe it as;

'Our vanilla-scented Bath Bomb is anything but boring when you lay back into a cozy white blanket of creamy, buttery froth. This little fizzer is the ultimate in comfort with chunks of creamy cocoa butter; it’s fantastic for rehydrating dry skin. Baths can dry your skin if they’re too hot, so if you’re in need of a long, lingering bath pop one of these gorgeous beauties into the tub for a vanilla custard soak to lull you into a deep relaxed state – and leave with sweeter, softer skin. Once the cocoa butter pieces have melted, your skin will be coated by a light buttery film that smells good enough to eat. Ylang ylang is used in aromatherapy to treat stress and depression, as well as relaxing the nervous system, and relieves anger, panic and fear.'

I loved the fresh clean scent of this little bath bomb and popped it in the bath once it was full. The scent payoff was really nice, pleasant but not too over-powering, and once the butter pieces had melted my skin felt soft and moisturised. It wasn't the most spectacular of shows but I think this simple moisturising bomb isn't trying to show off but be the simple skin care that you will return to over and over again.
Once I got out the bath my skin felt lovely for the rest of the evening but the scent didn't linger too long, a nice time to continuing relaxation post bath.

Scent: 3.5/5
Show: 2/5
Skin: 4/5

Cleaning: 5/5 - no cleaning needed post bath
Repurchase? Yes

Overall 3.5/5

Emma's Outfits | Easy Summer Day

I wanted to post a outfit here on my blog and last week while I was in Essex visiting Jack we popped out for a spot of lunch at West Street Vineyard (it was delicious and well worth a visit for the food and how beautiful it is) and for some reason I was particularly feeling my outfit that day. Jack kindly snapped some photos for me to show you what I was wearing.

I must admit it is a Primark heavy outfit but what can you do when they have such a great summer collection. I particularly love the shoes because of my wide feet I can find it difficult to wear sandals but these fit lovely the kimono is a perfect addition to keep the sun off your shoulders during the hottest part of the day.

Top: New Look
Shorts: Primark
Shoes: Primark
Kimono: Primark
Necklace: Primark
Glasses: Tiffany & Co.
